The Company Build · $1,500 one-time

I Build Your Numbers.
You Run Your Company.

The software is the easy part — you can start it free today. The hard part is the thing underneath it: what a tech-day actually costs you, and what every package on your price list has to sell for to clear it. Most owners never finish that work. So I do it with you — on your P&L, your payroll, your equipment, your CRM. Thirty days. One time. Then it's yours.

This Isn't A Setup Fee.

A setup fee is what companies charge you to turn on their software. This is different. What you're buying is a price book engineered off your own costs — and the pay structure that runs on top of it. The software is just where it lives.

Nobody hands you those numbers. They come out of your P&L, your payroll register, your truck and equipment costs, the hours you actually pay for. Then every package on your list has to be priced above that floor with enough cushion left to pay a tech well and still hit your profit target. That's a day's worth of math you've probably been putting off for three years.

I did this work for 18 years in my own company before I ever wrote a line of software. The build is me doing it again — with your numbers in front of me.

What Actually Gets Built.

Every one of these is a live, working part of your account when we're done — not a PDF.

What I'm not promising you: Jobber is built and working end to end, with first client periods being verified now. ServiceTitan is built and in pilot. Manual sales-report upload works on any CRM today, so nobody waits on a connection to get started. Your build is priced and delivered on the nine items above, all of which work today. I'd rather you buy what's real and be surprised later.

The Thirty Days.

Here's the honest version: the clock starts the day your numbers land in my inbox — not the day you pay. And I'd rather give you a month and hit it than promise you two weeks and be chasing your bookkeeper on day nine. Most builds finish early. None of them finish rushed.

Week 1 · Your Company

One call, then you send the file

One 60-minute intake call. You fill in Step 1 — your year, your team, time off & benefits, company time — and send the documents on the list below. Done when Setup shows a burden rate for every division.

Week 2 · Labor Packages

Your ladder, priced above the floors

We price the ladder above your floors, then hold a walkthrough call at the end of the week. You see every number and where it came from, and we adjust live — this is the call that turns it into your price book instead of mine. You update the price book in your CRM before the new prices start.

Week 3 · Team Training

Your crew, trained live

A live session with your crew on the ladder, picking the package, the SDM, contract guidelines and how pay works. Scorecard emails set. CRM mapping or your Jobber connection switched on.

Week 4 · First Period

We close your first period together

We close your first real commission period side by side, before anyone gets paid. The build isn't finished until you've paid a crew off it once and every dollar made sense.

What You Send Me.

Nothing you don't already have. If the books are messy, send them messy — sorting that out is part of what you're paying for.

P&L — last full year, plus year-to-date
Balance sheet — end of last year, plus today
Payroll register — what each tech actually costs
Credit card statements — every business card
Chart of accounts — from your books
Tech & crew roster — who runs a truck, who rides along, with pay rates, schedule, PTO and company time
Equipment list — what you own and what it cost
Current price list — however rough it is
A recent sales report — export from your CRM
20 working days of jobs — a job log or export with labor dollars, plus tech timesheets

Two Ways In.

Same software either way. The only question is who does the math.

A pricing consultant builds a trades price book for five figures and hands you a spreadsheet. This is $1,500 and it's a running system when you get it — because I'm not billing you for the eighteen years it took me to figure it out. I'm billing you for the thirty days it takes to put it under your company.

Straight Answers.

Can't I just do this myself?

Yes — and plenty of guys should. The method is on this site for free, the trial is 30 days, and the tools do the arithmetic. The build is for the owner who knows he won't sit down and finish it, or who wants it right the first time because he's about to hire.

My books are a mess. Does that kill it?

No — it's normal, and it's usually the most valuable part. Miscoded equipment purchases, subcontractor pay in the wrong account, payroll split against the tax line. I find those in the build and tell you what to fix, because a burden rate off bad books is a burden rate you can't trust.

Do I need a particular CRM? Can I still do it?

No. Every client can run off a sales report they export and upload, from any CRM or spreadsheet, no matter how they bid: hourly, time-and-material, lump sum, or flat rate. We connect Jobber during onboarding — after that it's a Pull button in your portal each period. Jobber is built and working end to end, with first client periods being verified now. ServiceTitan is built and in pilot. Manual sales-report upload works on any CRM today.

I run more than one division. Is that extra?

Up to three divisions are included — each gets its own burden rate, day rate, package ladder and equipment registry, because a hardscape crew and a service truck don't cost the same to run. More than three, we'll talk on the call.

When does the $150 start?

30 days after your system goes live. Your free month starts at go-live — the build doesn't burn it. After that, $150/mo is set up as automatic payment in QuickBooks. The $1,500 build is invoiced through QuickBooks. No card ever goes into this website.

How do I cancel?

Call or email me. There's no contract and no cancel button — I stop the QuickBooks autopay before your next charge, and I'll send you your data if you want it.

Is my data safe?

Here's what's true. The whole site runs on HTTPS. Your numbers are stored with Supabase, encrypted, and backed up daily. Each company sees only its own data — the database enforces that, not just the screen. Your password is handled by Supabase's sign-in; I never see it. No card or bank numbers are stored here — billing runs through QuickBooks. Your data is never sold. I'm the only one who can get into client accounts, and only to support you. The details are in the Privacy page.

What if I don't agree with the numbers you come back with?

That's what the walkthrough call is for. I show you the math behind every rate and every package, and we change what you want changed while you watch. You're not signing off on a black box.

How many of these do you take at once?

A few at a time. I build every one personally — there's no onboarding department here — so the calendar is the limit.

Start with a conversation

Bring Your Numbers. I'll Tell You What They Say.

Sixty minutes on video, no charge. We'll look at what a tech-day is really costing you right now. If the build makes sense after that, we'll start the clock. If it doesn't, you'll still leave the call knowing your floor.
